Fordite, also called the “Detroit Agate” isn’t a stone at all. It’s car paint from a process no longer used. The banding is layers of different colored car paint. This particular Fordite is predominantly gray, black and blue but the pop of green is the star! Done in tarnish resistant silver coated copper.
Basically: THIS IS NOT A STONE, IT IS PAINT. DO NOT USE SOLVENTS OR ABRASIVES AROUND THIS PENDANT.

All pieces are one of a kind. Avoid wearing while showering/swimming and while sleeping. Bare Copper, Bronze, Brass and Silver Filled pieces will naturally oxidize and darken as they age
